Valentines Visit to Ann Harding Cheshire Home

Easter Egg Hunt - Lambano Sanctuary

We had the great opportunity and privilege to host an Easter Egg Hunt party for the children at Lambano Sanctuary (www.lambano.org.za) situated in one of our areas. Lambano accept into their care children who have been abandoned or orphaned, especially those affected by HIV / Aids.

The staff at Lambano are doing amazing things for these amazing children. Our Team at Chas Everitt Bedfordview / Edenvale sponsored the Easter eggs and goodies that put huge smiles on all the little ones’ faces. We even had the Chas Teddy bear mascot to bring even more excitement and cuddles to the day. All in all, it was a great morning filled with lots of surprises, joy and laughter. Definitely something that touched the hearts of the more privileged.

In True Madiba Spirit

Chas Everitt Randburg visited the Ann Harding Cheshire Home for the physically handicapped during July 2011.

A cheque of R3000 was handed over by Tilla Everitt to the manager, Willem Roos and for tea the agents provided doughnuts as a special treat.

It was, as always, so uplifting chatting and socializing with most of the 40 residents. A tour of the thrift shop proved to be quite an adventure. To the volunteers who man the shop, a huge thank you for the wonderful service you render together with your special four legged staff member.

As always, Chas Everitt was bowled over by the friendliness and optimism of all.

Chas Everitt Westrand's Fundraising Project

Following our highly successful “Home Makeover” projects in 2008 and 2009, Chas Everitt's National Broker Council has launched a new Corporate Responsibility Programme “Chas Cares” aimed at supporting and uplifting our local Charities and Communities.

After consideration of the Charities and Community Projects within our area, we have decided that our Charity of Choice for 2010 will be Angel's Place.

A Safe Haven for abused, traumatized and neglected children, the Haven fosters 6 children at present and acts as an emergency place of safety for children in need of care and operates under the auspices of the Roodepoort Child and Family Welfare Society.

Your participation in this Golf Day in support of this most worthy Charity will ensure a better life for the children within the Haven.

The Chas Everitt Far East Rand team decided to partner Potters Haven in Struisbult, Springs. The Potters Haven has been in existence for over 4 years. Potters Haven is a place of safety for abused children and an overnight facility for any child in need on a 24/7 basis. It is managed by the Minnie family providing family care and love on an ongoing basis. A total of 30 children have crossed their threshold so far, in most cases, experiencing true proper family care and structure for the first time...
