Chas Everitt Eastern Cape supports Hankey Childrens Home

Chas Bear comes to the Party
Chas Bear arrives at the Chritmas party that was planned by all the staff of the Chas Offices in the Eastern Cape.
Chas Everitt International
Property group, Eastern Cape, have taken on the Hankey Childrens Home as their community project.  This will be a project that we plan to support always.
The Party started with a trip around the canals which many of the children had never experienced. Here in the photo to the right is Runaldo the allocated Drinks man, who served Oros Iced tea to all.
Trip on the Canals
Iced tea and sandwiches were on the menu for the boat trip.
Swimming at the Cove
Looking at this photo(above), all these children look like any other group of children.  Normal, smiling and having fun.
When the boat reached the Cove, all the kids decided it was time for a swim.  What a priviledge it was to see these children just having fun, and forgetting all the hardship life had dealt out to them.
All of these children have been sent to the Hostel by social welfare
But just this one day, these children were able to just have fun.
Water Slide
This water slide was the best thing of the day, so said many of the children.
Kids awaiting Chas Bear arrival
Awaiting the arrival of Chas Bear.
Thank you to all of you that have supported this project in one way or another.
Each child will be recieving a bicycle for Christmas, and when Chas Bear announced this, you could feel the excitment in the air. Next year in Febuary, we are planning the complete makeover to the children's home as this is an old building and needs alot of maintenance.

So if you would like to help please contact us at the office.  There will always be a need.
