Mandela Day 2013 - 67 Minutes

The Chas Everitt Western Seaboard team surprised Home of Hope with an array of goodies!

In Sandton, Chas Everitt brought some coziness to the animals of Kitty and Puppy Haven.

Starting the morning on a good note, with the Chas Everitt team bringing colour to the Lallies Day & After Care.

We treated the Roodepoort Centrum for the elderly to a decadent high tea. Just look at those happy faces!

We visited the Ann Harding Cheshire Home for the physically disabled in Northwold.

What a privilege to, once again, spend time with our friends on this cold winters day, celebrating Mr. Mandela's Joy of Giving event, everyone literally gravitated to the garden and the patio enjoying the sun. As always, we receive much more than we can ever give. The positivity, friendliness and joy we experience is absolutely priceless.

And we certainly didn't forget about man's best friend!

Supporting Man’s Best Friend ... DARG is situated on a large plot in Hout Bay and provides shelter for rescued animals. After heavy rains this month their dogs found themselves knee deep in mud as floods ran through their runs.

Cape Brick and Chas Everitt Cape Town South donated enough paving and money to fix 14 – 16 of the 27 runs that were affected by the floods.

We also helped out at the The Domino Foundation Babies Home, making 300 lunches for all the hungry little mouths.
